Is it really the preseason if Terrell Owens doesn't speak out on a potential return to the NFL? The former star wide receiver, who played for five teams in his career, recently spoke to TMZ Sports about his upcoming show Getcha Popcorn Read with T.O. and Hatch and mentioned the possibility of getting back in the league. Needless to say, T.O. is very confident he could help an NFL team.

“There's no doubt, 100 percent, that I can play in the NFL today. I'm not washed up. Once you know how to ride a bike, you never forget how to ride that bike.”

Terrell Owens also went on to say that he's still running a 40-yard dash speed which you would typically see in the NFL Draft:

“I've been on the track and honestly, I probably ran like a week ago. I was clocked at 4.4 on the 40, probably the fastest I've been in a long time.”

Owens also claimed that one NFL team has been keeping tabs on him this summer and told him to stay in shape with the possibility of them giving the former wideout a shot.

Terrell Owens hasn't played in the league since 2010 where he racked up 983 yards and 9 TD's that season with the Cincinnati Bengals. If he's actually telling the truth about his 40-yard dash time, that's extremely fast for a 47-year-old. Like ridiculously quick.

Keep in mind, the Hall of Famer does this every summer. Speaks out on how he can still play in the NFL but then it never happens. However, maybe this time around will be different. Only time will tell.

Getcha Popcorn Ready with T.O. and Hatch will be produced in Los Angeles and distributed by Fubo Sports Network as a vodcast and audio podcast series. New episodes will air every Sunday at 8pm ET/PT.
